I read negative reviews about this and tried for myself with my fragile old lady lips. it isn't too hot or spicy. there's a hint of warming, but it feels good and not overdone. it's got a nice sheen but not too much shine. my boyfriend and I wore this today and we both liked it. ...it's a great thermo lip balm

Smells so good, literally smells like a blue freezie and it definitly has a cooling feeling when it “plumps” but that being said, saw absolutely no plumping effect and it left a very very slight blue tint on my lips (which i expected so its chill). Probably just gonna stick with the extreme lip injections from too faced...I LOVE this! It makes my lips look naturally redder, plumper, and over all much juicer.
