in love...so good...I have the worlds most sensitive skin and tried to find an organic skincare line that didn't cause breakouts....I have dry skin and after reading many great reviews I got this cream thinking I would love it, but I don't... I don't like how it feels on my skin and how its hard for me to blend it, it always leaves me wanting something more moisturizing.
Which skin type is it good for?
What it is:
A retro-style moisturizer that rescues dry, dull skin while slowly delivering a steady dose of barrier moisture throughout the day and night.
- Loss of firmness and elasticity
- Fine lines and wrinkles
If you want to know more…
This all-purpose rescue cream, whipped into an airy blend of six rare African oils, recovers and locks in intense moisture for hours after application. Plantain extract helps visibly brighten skin, while sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer easily soaks in and releases long-lasting hydration. In addition, antioxidant-rich fermented green tea helps combat signs of aging and relieves irritation from environmental stressors. Loaded with omega acids, Lala Retro™ is a silky, dream come true for tired, dehydrated, dry skin.
What else you need to know:
Formulated at an ideal (and skin-friendly) pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro has the luxurious texture of a rich face cream, without feeling suffocating or heavy. It is free of fragrance, essential oil, irritant, and silicone.
Drunk Elephant is committed to using only clean ingredients that either directly benefit the skin’s health or support the integrity and effectiveness of the formulations. They never take into account an ingredient’s synthetic or natural status, but instead choose based on its safety and bio-compatibility. You won’t find what Drunk Elephant calls "the suspicious six" of any kind in their products (1. silicones, 2. chemical screens, 3. sensitizing colorants/perfumes, 4. sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) 5. essential oils, 6. drying alcohols), making them appropriate for all skin. They believe that these six ubiquitous ingredients are at the root of almost every skin issue. When formulating the products, they focus on pH and toxicity, always making sure that the actives are at efficacious levels. This is the Drunk Elephant difference.
Drunk Elephant is a supporter of IEF (International Elephant Foundation) and is cruelty-free.
This product is a 2016 Allure Best of Beauty Award winner and 2017 Allure Reader's Choice Award winner.
