patchouli perfumes

when I read the name of this perfume, I assumed it would be heavy musky Patchouli..I almost didn't smell it to see.. ...A perfect twist on clean and sometimes boring citrus perfumes.

This perfume is very patch-forward in the best way. It is one of my favorite patchouli perfumes and I have a lot of them. ...I've been using 7 Virtues perfume ( original patchouli line) for several years.

I bought this perfume last fall in Paris and what can I tell you it's the perfect perfume for the colder season. ...until one day someone near me on a bus had practically BATHED in it; after the 15 minute bus ride, i could taste and smell it for hours afterward and could never wear that perfume again. for me, this has a similar but sexier/subtler licorice note, and is more earthy and warm from the patchouli and praline. if you've also smelled gucci rush (another fave), it's almost a perfect blend of the two.

I’ve been building my Commodity perfume collection and I don’t regret one bit. Love to smell different from what other people tend to use for perfumes....Heavy on patchouli. no go for me...its a no for me and gold OG is my fav of all time. this is so heavy on patchouli I was sick with a migraine the whole day I tried just ONE small spritz. i hoped bold meant it would have longer lasting power. nope. it's so different than the original. if you love patchouli you will likely love this. it's a trigger for me. it's too bad these won't be in stores to really experience the differences between the new personal, expressive and bold.

I love this…. But, I love patchouli. You can definitely smell the patchouli in this. ...One of my all time favorite perfumes, including Intoxicated by Kilian. That being said, it is on the heavy side and not for someone who likes light, floral or ‘feminine’ scents.

The scent has an elegant rose combined with a woodsy aroma, very romantic. I’d wear it as a perfume if it was bottled as one....As for the scent, it is rather delicate and crowd-pleasing. Oud and patchouli can be too strong for some, but this is mostly a rose fragrance with lighter supporting notes.

Opens with a plummy-dark honeyed black current...rose is quite mature, almost jammy. Patchouli is there, and vanilla absolute plays close and mellows the scent. ...gorgeous perfume!...I went to the store to get the Si passionne intense and I got this one instead! This perfume smells so good! It is sweet, fresh elegant and last for hours!
