I don't know exactly what it does, but I sure love the smell of this spray on my clean hair. I then spray on BB styling lotion, and together they give my thin hair a bit more body (without an unnatural feel, like some products). ...I love that it's light enough to spray all over my head and I don't have to worry about greasy roots like lots of sprays!

Love the consistency of the lotion, however, I’m not a fan if the scent. I just colored my hair and went blonde and sustained a ton of breakage and the thickening lotion saves my hair every time! It looks full and healthy full of volume - its AMAZING a must have for thin and or frail hair....I switch between this, Living Proof Thickening Lotion, and Bumble and Bumble thickening spray, but this adds some shine that the others do not.
