its ok i guess. the primer definitely makes your mascara last and stay black (my black mascara usually fades to a grey for some reason?) ...Some reviewers report that the white primer makes mascara turn gray; this does not happen to me as I follow directions and allow this primer to dry before applying mascara.

I would say that the glossiness and the darkness of the black color is what i look for most on a mascara. Volumizers usually have a lot of dull looking ash making it more matte and grey. ...Love love this mascara! I’ve been using Lancôme mascaras for years , best mascara out there.
