When you apply it on your skin, it leaves a slight sheen, but the scent is fragrant of being inside of a French bakery or walking in a candy shop with smooth chocolates, or caramel. My only complaint is that I wish the perfume oil came in a larger size....Favorite perfume oil...You really get that chocolate and wood and it mixes well. Personally I don’t consider this a vanilla heavy fragrance, that chocolate and wood come out a lot on me.

This is by far my favorite perfume of all time. User for life, I'm hooked and this better not ever be discontinued! ...I got this for my husband and at first I tho it hit it smelled a little like chocolate then it became a heavy peppery smell. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that it last basically all day.

The chocolate note wasn’t that present to me but over all it’s a nice perfume....I do wish the perfume had more chocolate scent. The spiciness in the perfume can be a bit overpowering so having a little more of chocolate, I think, can help balance everything
