Klarna Afterpay PayPal Pay Later
Klarna is an alternate payment method that allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments. To use Klarna to pay for your purchase on sephora.com, add products you love to your basket and choose Klarna at checkout. Your purchase will be split into 4 equal payments. The first payment is due when your order is shipped. The remaining three payments will be automatically charged to your debit or credit card every two weeks. To use Klarna in Sephora stores, see the instructions below. Your first payment will be collected when you make your in-store purchase.
If your basket is eligible for 4 interest-free payments with Klarna on sephora.com, the option will be presented at checkout. After confirming your phone number, you’ll be sent an SMS message to confirm your identity. You’ll then set up your payment method with Klarna and accept the terms of your payment plan. In Sephora Stores:
Search for and select “Sephora,” then select “In-Store”
Create a digital card for the desired amount of your purchase
Enter your preferred payment method and accept the terms of your payment plan
Add your digital card to your digital wallet
Tap your digital card to the credit card reader at checkout to complete your transaction

No. When you sign up for Klarna, they may perform a soft credit check. This will not impact your credit score or show up as a hard inquiry on your credit report.
If your order total changes for any reason, the payments will be adjusted accordingly.
You do not need to pay for goods that aren’t received, or goods that are received damaged, broken, or defective. Follow Klarna’s help instructions and select “Report a Problem” in your Klarna account to pause your payments until the issue is resolved. If you’re issued a refund or order cancellation, Klarna will send an adjusted statement and payment schedule. You can check the status of your payments any time via Klarna’s site or in your Klarna app.

Most authorizations are reversed within 24 hours, however this is ultimately up to your financial institution.

Yes. If you want to pay the next payment or full balance of your payment plan early, simply log into the Klarna app, go to the “Purchases” page, and select “Payment Options.”
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your purchase from the card that you entered at checkout. You can find out when your payments will be collected in the email that you received at the time of purchase or by logging into your Klarna account. If you need extra time to make a payment, simply log into the Klarna app, go to the “Purchases” page, and select “Payment Options,” then “Extend due date.”If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after seven days. If this payment also fails, Klarna will make another attempt after a further seven days (14 days after the date of the first attempt). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s Pay in Four product even if you have failed to pay on time.
A late fee of up to $7 may be charged if an automatic payment cannot be collected. Please see terms for full details.
Sephora.com Purchases Return by mail:
If Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 30 days of purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to your Klarna account and the amount and length of your payment plan will be adjusted accordingly.
If Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 31–60 days of purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to an online credit that can be used at sephora.com but is not valid for use in Sephora stores. This credit will NOT be applied to your Klarna account and you MUST continue to make payments to Klarna per the original agreement.
Return in store:
If Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 30 days of purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to a Visa/Mastercard debit/credit card of your choice. This credit will NOT be applied to your Klarna account and you MUST continue to make payments to Klarna per the original agreement.
If Sephora receives your new or gently used item within 31–60 days of purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to a Sephora store credit that can be used at Sephora stores but is not valid for use on sephora.com. This credit will NOT be applied to your Klarna account and you MUST continue to make payments to Klarna per the original agreement.
In-Store Purchases Return in store:

Afterpay is a service that allows you to shop now and pay later, always interest-free. With Afterpay, your purchase will be split into four payments, payable every two weeks.
Afterpay is available on sephora.com and in Sephora stores.
Add items to your cart and select Afterpay as your payment method at checkout. First-time customers will need to create an Afterpay account (with instant approval decision) and returning customers can simply log in to make their purchase. Please note that all items in your shopping cart must be eligible for Afterpay. A minimum purchase amount may apply, and you must meet additional eligibility requirements to qualify.
Simply download the Afterpay mobile app, follow the in-app instructions to set up the Afterpay Card, and use the Afterpay Card with Apple Pay or Google Pay to make a contactless payment at checkout. You’ll pay 25% at the time of purchase and take your items home that day.
You will make your first payment at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments deducted every two weeks from your chosen payment method. If you choose to make additional payments before your scheduled pay dates, you may do so through your Afterpay account. You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date if you choose to do so.
To check the amount you have been pre-approved to spend, visit the In-Store tab of the Afterpay app or view your account details on afterpay.com. Please note, pre-approval is not a guarantee of approval at the time of purchase.
Afterpay is not available on purchases of gift cards. If you are purchasing gift cards along with Afterpay-eligible products, you will need to make two separate purchases.
Afterpay purchases follow our standard return policy. You can return your online Afterpay purchase in store or by mail for a refund. In-store purchases must be returned in store. Please check that your return or exchange meets our return policy . To return a purchase made with the Afterpay Card, simply open the Afterpay app and navigate to the How it Works section within the In-Store tab. Look under, “How do I return an order?” and follow the instructions to make an Afterpay Card return. Afterpay will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Please do not return your purchase directly to Afterpay. If you believe there is fault or concern with your Afterpay purchase payment, please contact Afterpay customer support here.

Afterpay will be notified once your refund is processed. Your payment plan will be automatically adjusted to reflect the new order total starting with the last payment and working backward. Note that the length of payments will never go beyond six weeks after the purchase date. In the case in which a refund amount is larger than 25% of the total order, Afterpay will eliminate the fourth installment payment and charge the remaining amount to your third payment.
Afterpay is only offered to customers who have a US billing address, a US shipping address, a US Visa or Mastercard or American Express (credit or debit card), and a US mobile phone number. Customers with international billing addresses, shipping addresses, and/or phone numbers will not be able to set up an account with Afterpay.
