These Hourglass brushes are definitely soft, but I couldn't really tell the difference between my other high end brushes. ...To fluffy and soft for the Hourglass foundation and not dense enough for blush. I do use the smaller Hourglass brush with the cap on it for foundation and it is a must have for the foundation.
